Cowards go to Hell

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

A coward is defined as: One who shows ignoble fear in the face of danger or pain. One who lacks courage to meet danger; one who shrinks from exposure to possible harm of any kind; a timid or pusillanimous person; a poltroon; a craven.

The cowardly is the opposite in scripture of manliness. (Please see before concluding anything.) Courage is what we ought to exhibit whether we always do. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. (Jam.4:17) The motivation of cowardice is self-preservation, to which Jesus responded “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.” (Mt.16:25, Mk.8:35, Lk.9:24, 17:33) Peter denied Christ for fear of men and then dissimulated later drawing a rebuke from Paul. (Mt.26:69-75, Gal.2:11-14) But he confessed and forsook his sin and found mercy. Many people don’t repent, rather they justify it with sophistry.

Nancy Pearcey in her book- Love Thy Body, documents the emasculated pro-choice stance by quoting a shameful man who became pro-abortion “Because I am a man.” “I’ve remained on the sidelines and deferred to the other half of the population.” The semblance of reason to cover this cowardice is that he is “Lacking the ability to get pregnant...” Which has nothing to do with determining whether it is a child in the womb. And millions of babies are murdered because of this sort of fear of popular opinion. This demonstrates clearly the scripture, “For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” (Gal.1:10) And again “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” (Mk.8:38, Lk.9:26) When informed that “in every city... bonds and afflictions abide me” Paul firmly resolved “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” (Acts 20:23-4) We need this same spirit as those who “loved not their lives unto the death”. (Rev.12:11)

Our founders said : “We have counted the cost of this contest, and find nothing so dreadful as voluntary slavery. -- Honour, justice, and humanity, forbid us tamely to surrender that freedom which we received from our gallant ancestors, and which our innocent posterity have a right to receive from us. We cannot endure the infamy and guilt of resigning succeeding generations to that wretchedness which inevitably awaits them, if we basely entail hereditary bondage upon them.” This shame and infamy is resigned to Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union for example. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn recounts his arrest along with millions of other citizens under the Stalin regime recalling “You aren’t gagged. You really can and really ought to cry out- to cry out that you are being arrested!...That arrests are being made on the strength of false denunciations! That millions are being subjected to silent reprisals!” And yet hardly anyone made a peep or mutter. No public stir or “bristle” to make the arrests more difficult. He mentions once when a woman screamed holding onto a street lamp and drew a crowd which flustered the young men attempting the arrest who quickly fled. (The Gulag Archipelago- the Vintage abridgment pg 11-12) For decades it continued Solzhenitsyn states, “How long all that dragged on! And how many millions there were! But the future call-up of 1937 didn’t bat an eyelid and found it all normal. They remained calm while society was being imprisoned. Their “outrage reason boiled” when their own fellowship began to be imprisoned.” (pg.244) Of course then it is usually too late. But a society with no courage, no spirit, and seduced with pleasures is ripe for enslavement.

Friedrich Nietzsche the great syphilitic atheist pointed out that most people’s ‘morals’ are simply manifestations of their cowardice, their conforming to herd mentality. This emasculates the true ‘overman’ from courage, strength, leadership, adventure, danger and unassumingly confines him to defending the herd standards with everyone else. Slavish conformity is no virtue. If this waste of a genius could see that, imagine the day of judgment when God searches the thoughts and intents of the heart of those flattering themselves righteous as the rich ruler. Christ quickly and painfully revealed his sin. (Mt.19:16-25, Mk.10:17-23, Lk.18:18-25)

Marxists are particularly astute at weaponizing cowardice. They seductively incite "the malcontented, disenchanted, disaffected, and dissatisfied. For them, individual liberty and capitalism expose their own shortcomings and failings, and their difficulty and perhaps inability to function in an open society. Marxism provides a theoretical and institutional framework through which they can project their own limitations and weaknesses onto "the system" and their "oppressors" rather than take responsibility for their own real or perceived plight." (pg.8 American Marxism, Mark Levin)

This perverse spirit has been mingled in our culture. “Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil”. (Ex.23:2) Cowering for fear of being hated and sewing fig leaves of moral posturing to cover this shame, they parrot the fool saying in unison ‘Judge not!’ Ye fools and blind! (Mt.23:17,19) Behold, thy people in the midst of thee are women. (Na.3:13, Jer.50:37) Who keep silence when they ought to lift up their voice. Who take their ease when they ought to gird up their loins like men. They are more concerned with how they look to social media and people they will never meet than the living God with whom they have to do. We are falling under the judgment of Isaiah’s day when he lamented “As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.” (Isa.3:12) “For, behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah... The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient... the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.” (3:1-5) God told Jeremiah during the apostasy of his day, “Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth”. (Jer.5:1) He found none; therefore the wrath of the Lord fell upon them through Nebuchadnezzar without mercy.

In our day we struggle to find those who follow consistent logical coherence, who do not embrace fallacies and delusions, who are more in love with truth than their egos. They will lie to themselves, believe anything they can besides the truth which exposes their shame. Deathly afraid of embarrassment for being wrong or being rejected by a degenerate generation they persist in contradiction, stiffnecked with faces like flint having defiled minds and consciences seared with a hot iron. Cowards care not for truth for fear of what they will find about what they really are. And therefore, they live from one lie to the next flattering themselves puffing themselves up, shutting their ears to the truth, turning away their eyes from reality while their neighbor falls into hell itself and they never fain to utter a word.
